This blog is a class project for the EDUC 214 - Teaching with Technology course at the University of Southern Indiana. Periodically throughout the Spring 2011 semester, students will post a blog about a technology or application they have learned in class. They will also post a lesson plan using that technique or technology. By the end of the semester this site will be a resource for when the students begin classroom teaching.

Vuvox
Vuvox is a multimedia presentation software. It consists of three types: Express, Collage, and Studio. Vuvox is still in its beta stage, so many of the applications are not currently functional. You can add background pics, videos, and sound effects. It is not as useful as a presentaion within itself, but it could go along well with a powerpoint presentation. One way I could use this in a history classroom is to use the background with pictures and sounds while lecturing to give students some visual learning to keep the classroom creative and not boring.
